My tatted motifs...

Well today I took the last motif off the blocking board and ironed it. I am almost finished with my artwork for my bathroom! I used Oren Dayan thread in size 50 and color number 112, a burgundy color. The pattern came from Tatting Designs From Victorian Lace Craft book by Jules and Kaethe Kliot,"the large wheel" is the name of it. I did change the pattern a little as I always want to add or change something! I added beads to the inner round of tatting. See picture below..........

I have a picture below of the three motifs that are going to go in my master bathroom. You should recognize these motifs as they had been posted to my blog for a while. I will take these motifs to the frame shop on Tuesday for the finishing touches! Once at the shop they will be blocked and matted onto the background I choose and then hand sewn onto the background and then nicely framed. I am very lucky to have such a good frame shop in my neck of the woods.
Well I guess that is all for now. I don't have anymore to say and I have so many other things to do!

Very pretty! I have never heard of that thread and everytime I hear about a different one I go searchin for it. I better stop and start using the thread I have already, but the color is beautiful!! I'm more into somewhat darker tones. I still have more of your blog to cover yet!
