Well today I have rested.. I guess I over did it yesterday! I had so much fun and it was hard leaving yesterday from Hector! I know I am not the only one that felt that way. I have worked on the sequin tatting from yesterday, I did not finish it as it is a teaching piece. I used the Valdina thread I ordered from Deb Arnold in the Sparkling Stream color. It worked up okay, it pulled apart as it is a three cord thread, so I would suggest using it for a motif or project you are well versed in the tecnhiques so you can just tat away! It is a beautiful thread though.. I can't tell you how many complients I got on it yesterday!! I learned 2 new techniques..inward facing picots, and beads on the inside of a ring so you will them in the piece below. It was great fun learning these techniques. I had a blast.
I also recieved a wonderful ring of tatters shuttle and bookmark from Brenda..she was so sweet and a phenomonal teacher!! See Picture below..
I am even thinking of joining the ring of tatters and I had so much with Brenda. I wish I lived in the UK!!! My husband says we can go there for vacation and that is all! So I am saving money now for our trip.. maybe our 5 year anniversary we can go to the UK!!
Well back to tatting.. it was a wonderful weekend.. too bad it is coming to a close!!
