Well it is a nice rainy and stormy morning! I am enjoying the thunderstorms!! On Friday my DH finished the nursery and I am so happy as our little bundle of joy should be arriving any time..well I guess he or she will come when "they want"! Below are some pictures of the nursery. We used sunflower yellow with white trim and a Winnie the Pooh theme. I loved Winnie the Pooh when I was little and it is a good theme when you don't know the sex of the baby.

Here is the first Winnie the Pooh wall hanging, given to the little one by my sister, Auntie Tess. She is so excited for her neice or nephew and will be coming down to visit soon! I am hoping to order a couple more Winnie the Pooh wall hangings for the other bare walls.
This is the best full room picture I could get so here is the little one's nursery.... ta da....You can see the Winnie the Pooh mobile.
This is a picture of the crib and rocking chair. The quilt that is hanging from the crib was a gift from Karey Solomen.. it has bears on it and is just lovely! The rocking chair was mine when I was a child and the foot stool was purchased a local antique store. Hopefully DH will build me a small table to go next to the rocking chair. However right now asking him to do anymore projects would not be good. He is finishing painting our kitchen and getting that put back together plus the other projects at the farm he gets into. He is a busy guy!!

This is another close up of the crib.. you can see the Winnie the Pooh mobile and the quilt that Karey made for the baby. The crib and mattress were a gift from my in-laws, which was very much appreciated! As for tatting.. well I told you last post I have been working on something and how bad of me to not share.. so see the pictures below of a doily I am making use the Lizabeth thread.

Keep in touch, friend! :)
Very nice nursery, it will be much used and appreciated. I do not know of any little one who doesn't like winnie-the-pooh.
good start on the doily. you will have to keep us up to date and share the location of the pattern.
What a beautiful room you have made for your baby! I can see you, rocking in the chair by that wonderful window. Lots of good wished for the imminent birth!
