Fall tatting...

Okay.. maybe I am getting ahead of myself here... I guess when you have time.. you can! I decided to work on a tatted witch when I could not sleep last night. This pattern is from Carol Amich and it is called "Pointy Hat Prue" and it was very easy to tat. I used DMC size 10 black perle cotton and Altin Basak size 50 in lime green. In hindsight using the perle cotton was not the best option, it frays and it is frustrating! I think I would use Altin Basak black thread next time. See picture below...let me know what you think of my tatted witch....

On a personal note..we are still waiting for the baby to come.. 4 days overdue at this point! I think we have a stubborn one on our hands... however we are doing well. Mommy is tired and ready to hold her little one!!! In time they say....

You have probably already heard a hundred times that first ones are often overdue. LOL! I'm sure it will be soon! I keep watching for news.

I hope the witch won't frighten your baby , he might decide to stay put! - it's a lovely pattern, perhaps if you tat Jane Eborall's stork the next time you can't sleep, the baby might get the right idea?

I wish you all the best Tanya for you and your little one to come. The little one will start coming before you even know it. Suddenly things start...and then the miracle that you and your husband have made will be here. Life is a miracle. That is why I gave Chrystal "Eve" for a middle name which means life...and new life is a true miracle.
