Well last week I finally got out the Lizabeth thread! It was a treat to tat with and it feels so good on your fingers. I love the colors, they are so maginificant. I used Carribean and I worked up a small motif from Lady Duffy Gordon's book
Vintage Tatting and Crochet. I did motify the pattern a bit and I think I will make it more of a book mark than motif. See picture below...

I have continued to work on the last round of the baby bonnet.. wow! I can't believe the last row is here.. I feel like I have been working on it forever.. See picture below..
It is coming along... isn't it? Well no other big tatting news at this point.. back to tatting..

Have a lovely day!!

Your bonnet looks like you are almost done! Look at all that work!
I just broke out my Lizbeth thread this last week, too! I just posted the heart I finished yesterday. It looks like you are tatting with Carribean! I liked it okay, but I am almost wondering if one of the balls from the first batch was slipped in there and I got it, LOL! I wasn't all the thrilled with the twisting I experienced!
Yes I heard the first batch was not good with regard to twisting. I hope you experience what I did, as it was so nice to tat with!
Your bonnet is looking very pretty which it also did when I saw it with my very own eyeballs. Love the color combo.
Thank you Sherry and TattingChic for your nice comments! I am working on the bonnet today and maybe I will get it done.. since I am suppose to be resting..
Your bonnet is beautiful can't wait to see it finished. I don't know how to tat myself but love looking at the beautiful things all you tatters make.
Hi Tanya, I am catching up on blogs and I just love your baby bonnet! That will surely become an heirloom.
