Today's highlights..

Well today has been a lovely day... we spent the morning gardening and getting the house in order. You see after I got back from Hector.. I had tatting things everywhere and just did not attend to the household chores.. so today was a catching up day. It was nice to get the laudry done, all 5 loads of it, clean the upstairs, and put away my tatting surveniours from Hector. Then outside we went.. to have more fun.... my DH found a liliac tree buried in a pile of over grown flowers and shrubs, and asked me if I wanted it...well of course I wanted it!! I grew up with liliacs and just love their fragnant smell. So he replanted it in our front bed where there was a hole.. so now there is a beautiful dark purple liliac in the bed! I will miss Rochester, NY's liliac festival which is coming up.. so all of you Rochester tatters.. have some fried dough for me and enjoy the smell of the liliacs. Then we got out our outdoor furniture for the front porch and I weeded in our front bed and the bed by the mailbox.. boy does everything look good. I was exhausted by 5pm and when DH came home from cutting firewood and we went out for subs. I should take some pictures of our landscaping and beds and post to my blog.. I just always seem to forget when I am in the moment.

As for tatting.. none so far today.. however I am thinking of stringing the beds for the next round of Martha's Maltase teapot after I get offline. Well hope everyone had a lovely day and enjoyed the sunshine too!
