I also have to prep for my tatting classes in Hector, I have shuttles to wind, and beads to string. I am really looking forward to going to Hector this year!! I think because I am out of town and I will get to see people I have not seen since last summer. Anyways looking forward to seeing all of you tatting celebs and regulars at Hector, you know who you are?!! I will not be long now..
More tatting projects.. here is the latest pics of the bonnet.. It is coming along slowly as other projects are taking precedence in our busy lives. Things get busy around here in the spring as we garden and this year we are going to plant as many vegatables, herbs, and plants as possible. I think sustaining our own food supply is very important in these times. We are looking into purchasing a part of cow, and pig for our meat supply. We are able to get free-range eggs and chickens from family, as they have a nice small scale farm. Our goal is to purchase as much natural or organic foods that are grown as close to us as possible. We as a culture need to learn to take better care of the earth and use the bounty that we are given. Okay.. I am off my soap box now.. as my DH says.. "Tanya enough!". What can I say.. I am a passionate person and it fills all parts of my life.. not just tatting, and crafting..

Lastly I have started Iris's TIAS Irish motif and will show a picture of it. I am not sure how I am going to finish it, as I realized when I got done with the last part, I really need to think about where this is going!! Oh well.. live and learn!! The thread is a sample of varigated purple that Karey Solomen gave us last summer.. so see Karey I am using it!! It just took me time..
Iris thank you for sharing this lovely pattern.. I really do like it very much!

Well it is time to go.. I have a busy afternoon and must not be late... Happy tatting and enjoy the day!
Walsh out~
