Latest tatting..

Well I had hopes of tatting yesterday and had errands to do and I got very ill with that stomach bug that is going around. No fun! So I did the basics and ended up on the couch the rest of the day.

So here is what I have been tatting so far...


Tatted baby bonnet.. I am finishing row 4 and have about 4 more rows to do. I have the weekend off, so I will being working on, I hope. My DH will try to put me to work cutting firework, he likes having the help, plus it is necessary. I am happy with the bonnet so far and once this is done.. I will start a pair of booties.








This is a tatted butterfly I made the other night, I was going to send it in the exchange I am in, and I was not happy with it, so I will keep it. It is Bridget Phelps pattern. I used perfect quilter thread, which is very nice to tat with!














This is the start of my exchange item, a tatted basket. I am excited to make it as I have never made a basket before! I am going to put some eggs and other ebellishments in it, how fun!









Well this is all for now.. I have to go.. got to finish making lunch and go off to work.
