my latest tatting creations...

This is a picture of my latest tatting creation... I finished this coaster on Sunday. It is going in the package for my Grandma as I still have not sent her Christmas package yet. I made one coaster for her and one for her husband. I also included some hot cocoa, some homemade candies, 2 biscotti's, and some cute party napkins. I am not going to send mugs as I am afraid they will get broke in transit( I have had this happen before). I will mail this package either tomorrow or thursday depending on the weather.

I am going to work on my baby bonnet this evening, after I get back from a meeting at work. I think tonight will be a good night to stay in and tat, we are going to get more snow, and then that wintry mix of freezing rain and ice, yuck! Sure glad I don't have to go out tomorrow.

I hope everyone that is in that winter storm is staying warm and safe! My thoughts and blessings are with everyone.

Also with all the lay offs and cut backs in employement, bad economy, and overall distress in the country, my prayers are going out to everyone that is hard situation or struggling in any way. I have hope that things will change, however I think everyone needs to be part of that change.
