Sunday ramblings...

Good morning...
Well a sunny day in Southeast PA today. We are fortunate not to have any precipitation. Our thoughts and prayers are with those that are without power and heat in New England. I hear Upstate NY has about 5-6 inches of snow, again I am grateful I am not living in that weather anymore. Life today is just relaxing.. can you believe it?! I have made some oatmeal raisin cookies for my DH and to take to our aunts for lunch. We had a leisurely breakfast and coffee, of course. I am checking email, reading the paper and cleaning my desk.. I hope to do some more baking this afternoon along with some tatting. I made all my holiday candies and breads last night, amazed I did some much after working all night on Friday into Saturday am. We were so busy at work, not stop for 12 short hours. I work in a small community hospital ED and boy were we trying to save lives and care for very ill pts on Friday and Saturday. It was a trying night, and I am glad we could help those in need. As an RN, you can say at the end of a good or bad day that I did make a difference in the lives of others, AMEN!!! Not sure what other professions outside of teaching can say that today.

Well anyhow... for tatting... I am hoping to work on that baby bonnet... I want to get it done! I have no pics for the blog today.

Well happy tatting and take it easy today!!

Looking forward to seeing your baby bonnet finished. Thank you for reminding me of my many blessings. One of which is that I live in a mild climate. Thank heavens! Yes, God bless those without heat during the terrible cold

I've been reading about those ice storms all the way over here in Korea. I am so glad you are away from all that!

Your baked goods sound so yummy! I wish I had an oven...because that is a big part of Christmas that we are missing (o:
