Our Saturday Graduation Party..

Well yesterday was a blast! We spent a good part of the day, at my mom's new home celebrating my sister's graduation from high school. We had an overabudance of good food, laughs, and good company. My sister whom is going to Nursing school in the fall(big smilie), was so excited to share her day with everyone. We arrived around 1pm to help my mom set up and prepare the food. We had hamburgers, cheeseburgers, hots, and Italian sausage, baked beans, potatoe salad, veggie tray, chips and dip, fruit tray with yummy dip, pasta salad, and taco dip. Of course, we had two graduation cakes that my great aunt Phyllis made, can I say the frosting and cake just melted in your mouth!! Great aunt Phyllis makes the best cakes and she usually makes all of the cakes for the family celebrations, she is a wonderful cook and baker, we are so blessed to have her!! I got to see family and friends I have not seen in a while, as I live an hour away from my family, so it is hard getting down more than once a month. Especially with the gas price of $4.05 a gallon, ah! I heard yesterday that in France the cost of gas is $9.18 a gallon. I couldn't believe it! Our cousins had thier friend from France come to the graduation party and he was great fun and one heck of a good volleyball player! Yes, we played and played volleyball, it was so much fun and I never had to slide to hit a ball, imagine that! I had such a blast and was so glad we could be at the party!! I did not take any pictures, sorry noting to share. Although the best picture(wannabe) would have been when my cousin slide into dog poo while trying to hit the volleyball, that was priceless, we all laughed and lauged, I am not sure he thought it was so funny, however he took it in stride.

Well what a wonderful day and when we left we took a ride through the countryside and that was very enjoyable. We saw many deer and a coyote. How cool! Then after our coutryside ride, we got ice cream in the next town over, boy was that good!

Well today I am going to do some tatting, I volunteered to do some tatting for Hector 2009, as our tatting group usually donates something. So I better go~

Enjoy the day and the sun, yippee!
