Some Tatting...

Well here are some flowers and butterflies I have been tatting all summer long and finally finished the piece last evening. It is frustrating not getting enough time to tat these days. I have worked on these motifs since after finishing my motifs for the bathroomm, about 2 months. I was thrilled to just tat some of this weekend and I hope to do more tatting this week or weekend! I do miss it.
Well lets not wait.. here are the pictures..the butterflies are from a workbasket pattern that Nell Corns sent me 2 years ago. The flower motifs and leaves are Nell's own patterns that she sent me 2 years ago. The name of the flower motifs are Nell's Morning Blossoms. I think the pattern is great and it looks nice worked up! I used different threads for the butterflies and I used DMC 8 and Valenti threads for the flowers in red, red varigate, and a cream color. I used hunter green Flora thread in size 10 for the leaves and stems with Mill Hill seed beads on the leaves.

Walsh out!!
