Tatted angel...

Good morning..
Well after a late night of talking with my aunt and having much fun, I am up early! Ah.. It is hard going to bed at midnight and getting up at 5am, oh well, routine I am! Well I did finish a tatted angel over New Years and I was so happy to get it done and I had enjoyed just tatting it!I really find tatting is healing for me, it also is a great distractor too. So above left is my tatted angel I made,it is from some angel patterns I recieved at the Finger Lakes Tatting Group gathering in December of 05. It is Marjorie's Angel from Martha Ess, great pattern and works up very quickly. I like using metallic for the halo, it really made the angel seem real to me.I used size 12 perle cotton in white and size 10 metallic thread that was a sample I recieved last year in a thread exchange, from Sheila Clark. Thanks Sheila for the great thread sample!! Well off to start the day.. ah.. I wish I was still in fanasty land of the honeymoon.. oh well I am back to reality! Big sigh. Have a wonderful day!
