Tatting Christmas thoughts....

Hello Tatters..
Well Christmas is aproaching and everyone is neatly tucked into their beds.. with visions of tatting shuttles and threads in their heads.What will the stockings and presents reveal..lots of tatting threads, and notions, hand painted shuttles, and sterling silver shuttles neatly wrapped in red packages.It is a wonderous time of the year... with snow and the crisp air. I love Christmas time and what I love the most is time with family and friends.I spent today with some tatting buddies, in Hector, New York. I saw Kathy, Karey (yes Solomen), Shirley, Audry, Diane, Ginny, and Sherry( yes Celticdreamweaver).. for the annual christmas party! Our tatting groups always has a get together for the holidays, were we share patterns, threads, ideas, and tat of course! We worked on tatted angels today and I tatted some flowers for my tatted bag I am making.It was the most fun.. I have had in a long time! It was true JOY!!! I want to thank Karey for hosting it, and being such a great hostess.. and all the food that everyone brought was great! Audry your spinach casserole was wonderful! Sherry brought a christmas danish wreath and that as good too. Of course we had chocolates and more chocolates.. I love chocolates!! I really enjoyed my day and would do it again, and again!!! I am going to surf online for a while more and then go back to my tatting.. and then to bed as tommorow I have work early in the morning.
